Q & A

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a health condition in men. It is when you are unable to hold a proper erection while having sex. This is also known as impotence. The main cause is the narrowing of the arteries that take blood to the penis. If you can successfully gain an erection the majority of times you are aroused, you should not be worried if you were to experience a one-off spell of ED. Most men will face or will have faced a moment in which they are unable to gain an erection when needed. This can be a temporary condition due to stress, tiredness, or inebriation. However, if you are suffering from other major ED conditions, do not worry. ED is a treatable health condition, most commonly by a medicine taken before sex.

Levitra tablet treats erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It helps to prevent the action of the chemical phosphodiesterase type-5 already present in the body. This results in widening of the blood vessels and increases the blood flow into the penis. Hence, you can maintain an erection. Levitra is also known as Vardenafil.

Can I still drink alcohol?

Although medicines treating erectile dysfunction may still work when consumed with alcohol, it is recommended to refrain from drinking alcohol when using them as doing so can exacerbate ED symptoms.

Will I still be able to drive?

In most cases, using this medicine should not affect your ability to drive, or operate machinery. However, in a small number of cases, the treatment may cause side effects which impair your judgement, and in turn your ability to drive. If you think you may be experiencing side effects, it is advisable to avoid driving and seek medical advice right away.

How should I store it?

You should store Levitra at room temperature. Always keep the tablets in their original packaging as this will help to stop them being affected by light and moisture.

Am I allergic to anything in the medicine?

Levitra tablets contain the active ingredient Vardenafil Hydrochloride. Refrain from using this medicine if you are allergic to this, or any of the following ingredients used in this medicine: Crospovidone, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal anhydrous silica.

Levitra Orodispersible tablets contain: vardenafil, magnesium stearate, peppermint flavour, mannitol (E421) sorbitol (E420), aspartame (E951), crospovidone and hydrated silica colloidal. Again, do not take them if you are allergic to any of these ingredients.

Is it available over-the-counter?

You can only buy Levitra legally with a prescription from a practising doctor. Our GPs can write you a prescription online for Levitra, but only after you have filled out our questionnaire. If our doctor is satisfied the medicine is safe for you, our pharmacy will dispatch your order within one working day of approval using our 24 hour courier service.

Is it right for me?

Whether or not this medication is right for you depends on what treatment you’ve used before, or if you have any medical conditions which might increase your risk of side effects. We will recommend that men who have not used this medication before start on the lowest dose.

To complete your purchase, take our questionnaire. Once completed, a registered doctor will review your answers and issue a prescription, if suitable. This prescription will be sent to our practising pharmacy who will dispense your treatment. Orders are shipped by secure next-day courier.
