Q & A

Rosacea is also known as Acne Rosacea. It is a skin condition which mostly affects your face, sometimes including the neck, chest, and ears. It is usually seen in middle-aged people. Symptoms may appear during the early 20s; but usually, they are seen in 30-60 years’ age group. Women suffer more than men but their symptoms are less severe than men’s. Acne Rosacea is not contagious and cannot spread from one person to another. Symptoms of this condition are mild and antibiotics usually work on them. However, if you have an eye problem, see a doctor immediately as it could be serious. Acne Rosacea is not painful or itchy. But some infected people may experience a burning sensation over the affected area. It can be distressing but no serious complications are known.

Rozex is an antimicrobial skin medicine. It is used to treat acne rosacea. It contains an active ingredient known as metronidazole which helps control the infection and inflammation. Rozex is available as cream and gel. Not just the spot, but you need to apply the cream all over the area where your spots occur. Rozex unplugs the blocked pores which are formed due to acne. It is very effective for rosacea as well. The course duration depends on the severity of the infection.
